At First Baptist Long Beach, we provide quality teaching and loving guidance every time a child comes to church. Each class offers age-appropriate learning experiences designed to help children grow in their understanding of God’s love.
Our classes are age-graded based on school district guidelines to ensure the best learning environment. For example, if a child is 2 years old by September 1, they will be placed in the 2-year-old class.
Your child’s safety is our top priority. Our preschool area is protected by a secure check-in system, giving parents peace of mind while children enjoy a safe, caring space to learn about God.

Worship – 9am Sundays -  At this time we ask that parents please take their child to church with them.  Be sure to register your child along with you.
Sunday School – 10:30am Sundays – Through fun, interactive activities we provide quality teaching as they hear about a great God who loves them.
Mission Friends - 6:00 - 7:00pm Wednesdays - Preschoolers will learn about God's Word through games, crafts and teaching from our amazing team of teachers.

The Children’s Ministry at First Baptist Long Beach offers a variety of fun and meaningful activities each week and throughout the year. Our goal is to help kids grow in their faith and discover God’s love in a safe, encouraging environment.
Our Sunday School classes are grouped by school grade to provide age-appropriate Bible teaching and interaction. Kid’s Club brings all grades together for exciting activities, worship, and discipleship. For children who are homeschooled, we recommend placement based on the grade closest to their age.
Every lesson and activity is designed to help children understand who God is, how much He loves them, and His plan for their lives—including the wonderful truth that Jesus is their Savior.

Worship – We encourage families of 1st – 6th Graders to attend worship together.
Sunday School - 10:30am Sundays – Bible Lessons and Activities are used to teach children about a great God who loves them and provides for them.
Kid's Club - 6:00 - 7:00pm Wednesdays -  Designed to engage kids with the gospel through interactive Bible stories/characters, high energy music and games. Your kids will have fun and learn about the amazing treasures found in God's Word.
Vacation Bible School – This is held at the first part of Summer.  It is a week of Bible learning experiences, music, crafts, and lots of fun. Watch for details later about this experience.
